History

1st Outlet of CoCo ICHIBANYA 1978

In 1974, Mr. and Mrs. Munetsugu crafted a curry and rice dish renowned for its marvelous and captivating taste, which quickly became a staple in their café shop. Its popularity soared, inspiring them to transform their café into a dedicated curry specialty restaurant by 1978. This marked the inception of our first branch of Curry House CoCo ICHIBANYA in Nishibiwajima, Japan!
Since then, the brand has never looked back, continuing to spread smiles among their valued guests with its sumptuous curries. Over the years, CoCo ICHIBANYA has expanded globally, maintaining its commitment to delivering exceptional Japanese curry experiences. Each dish reflects a dedication to quality and innovation, rooted in the Munetsugu’s original passion for crafting delicious and memorable meals.
